Ms. Ellis is an accomplished author, speaker and gives seminars nationally on such topics as Physician and Ambulatory Surgery Center Coding, Billing, Reimbursement and Documentation Issues, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Billing, Medicare Denials, Specialty Coding, and Compliance Plans.  Ms. Ellis has served as a guest lecturer to graduate students in the nurse practitioner programs at Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities on Physician Extender “incident-to” billing, Evaluation & Management Coding, and documentation issues since 1997.
